Delaware ESGR hosts 2010 Employer Recogniton Banquet Delaware ESGR awarded Bayhealth Medical Center with the state’s top honors, a Pro Patria Award, on Wednesday,
June 16, 2010, at their 2010 Employer Recognition Banquet. The Pro Patria award is presented annually and is the highest state-level
award given to a civilian employer for their extraordinary Support of Employees who Serve in the armed forces. Each year,
one employer is honored at the highest state level for its support of employees who serve in the National Guard and Reserve.

SPIRIT OF VOLUNTEERISM AWARD With great admiration, Delaware ESGR presented the
SPIRIT OF VOLUNTEERISM award to Gene Hebert at their 2010 Recogntion Banquet. Since 1999, Gene has volunteered and worked
diligently with ESGR. As our current Chair Emeritus, he experienced the days before support staff existed, and kept
the wheels of the mission rolling. As a retired Colonel in the Air Force Reserve – and, retired Verizon employee
after 32 YEARS, he is a citizen warrior himself, and understands first hand the importance of working relationship between
employer- military employee.
