17 DEC 09 - President Ed Capodanno for Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc.’s Delaware Chapter signed a Statement of Support for the National Guard and Reserve on Thursday, December 17, 2009.   The support signing comes, following encouragement sent by ABC National Chairman, Mr. William Fairchild last year to all ABC chapters to follow suit, after the ABC Executive Committee signed their own Statement of Support.     

The Statement of Support confirms that the ABC Delaware Chapter joins other employers in pledging that:

• We fully recognize, honor and enforce the Uniformed Services Employment and Re-Employment Rights Act (USERRA). 
• Our managers and supervisors will have the tools they need to effectively manage those employees who serve in the Guard and Reserve.
• We will continually recognize and support our country’s service members and their families in peace, in crises and in war.

Mr. Capodanno encourages all the ABC Delaware membership to join him in pledging their support and utilize all resources available by ESGR Delaware in managing their military employees.
