AWARD YOUR EMPLOYER!
Recognize
your boss for his/her support of YOUR military service! Nominate
him/her for a "Patriot Award" (only you can nominate!). Your employer will receive a Department of Defense
Certificate of Appreciation and a Patriot lapel pin.

This ESGR-sponsored award program is designed to recognize
employers for employment policies and practices that are supportive of their employees' participation in the National Guard
and Reserve. All members of the National Guard and Reserve forces are eligible to submit and nominate their employers
for a "Patriot Award". This employer recognition is the most frequently presented. A certificate will
be given to all employers who are nominated.
This nomination
is subsequently used by the local Delaware ESGR committee as the basis for consideration to receive HIGHER LEVEL AWARDS, including
the most notable - the Secretary of Defense Freedom Award! Out of 3,202 service member's nominations in 2009,
and 15 Award Recipients -- Two Delaware employers received the Freedom Award !! It started with a Patriot Award!
